Free on every plan (0 units). Series built on Saudi open data are served under the Saudi Open Data License v2.0 with attribution: show attribution.notice wherever you display or pass on those figures.
The Kite Property Index, as published: the series of a published monthly release, frozen when it was released. Figures in a release never change; a correction is issued as a new revision with a note (release.revision, release.revision_note), and this endpoint returns the latest revision. Unreleased computations are never served. Methodology: https://kite.sa/en/market/methodology.
Series:
rent_contracted: mean yearly apartment rent of registered Ejar contracts, from REGA's open-data rent index.price_source: "registered". Quarterly. City figures chain neighborhood means over a matched neighborhood basket, so a shift in where leases were signed doesn't read as a rent change.land_registeredandhome_registered(registered sale prices) are temporarily unavailable. Requesting them is not an error: the response has no series for them.rent_asking: median yearly asking rent of apartments listed on Kite.price_source: "asking". Monthly, from March 2026. The national figure weights cities by REGA contract counts.
A release drafted before 2026-11 may carry land from the Ministry of Justice open data (source_key: "moj_transactions", property: "residential_land"); there, Riyadh-city points from 2024-Q1 carry coverage_flag: "notary_only" and the national series leaves Riyadh out.
Each point has its sample_size (contracts, deals or listings: sample_unit); points with fewer than observations are withheld, and lists the gaps inside a series so a missing period is never read as zero. Levels of asking and contracted rent are different quantities; compare each series with its own history.
