Connect an AI assistant
Use Darak in Claude
Listed in Anthropic's Connectors Directory. One connection works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile and Claude Code.
- 1
Connect
Open Darak in Claude's directory and select Connect.
- 2
Sign in
Enter the 6-digit code Darak emails you and pick a workspace.
- 3
Ask
Ask about listings, prices and neighborhoods in plain words.
Try asking
- 2-bedroom apartments for rent in Al Yasmin under 60,000 SAR
- Is this villa priced fairly for Al Narjis?
- Which north Riyadh neighborhoods have the best rental yield?
Darak's MCP server lets an AI assistant search Saudi rental and sale listings, check whether a price is fair, compare neighborhoods and look up development projects, using live data.
In Claude
claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude mobile share one list of connectors. Open Darak in the directory, or go to Customize → Connectors, browse for Darak and select Connect. Once connected, Darak is available in every chat and on every device signed in to the same Claude account.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds Darak once under Organization settings → Connectors; each member then connects with their own Darak account.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http darak https://mcp.darak.app/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Darak to sign in.
Other AI apps
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in can connect. Add a remote server with this URL:
https://mcp.darak.app/mcp
Menus differ between apps and versions; look for "Add MCP server" or "Custom connector". To confirm the connection, ask for "2-bedroom apartments for rent in Al Yasmin, Riyadh"; the assistant should call search_listings.
If an app can only run local MCP servers, bridge to the remote one with mcp-remote (requires Node.js):
{
"mcpServers": {
"darak": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["mcp-remote", "https://mcp.darak.app/mcp"]
}
}
}
The old https://darak.app/mcp address is retired. If an app still points at it, remove the server and add it again with the new URL.
Signing in and what it costs
The first time the assistant uses Darak, it opens Darak sign-in in your browser:
- Enter your email. Darak sends a 6-digit code; there is no password.
- Pick the workspace the connection should use. If you're new, a Free workspace is created in the same step.
- Approve read-only access.
Calls count against that workspace's plan and appear in its usage and request logs, just like API key calls. The Free plan includes 250 units a month; what a call uses depends on the tool and how many results it returns. Every plan can use every tool: market statistics, valuations and projects, which Free API keys don't include, work through MCP within the plan's monthly units, up to 1,000 a month. Past a limit, the tool answers with an upgrade link instead of data.
Never paste an API key into an AI app's MCP configuration; sign-in is the only way the MCP server accepts a connection.

What the data is
- Every price is the asking price of an active listing, not a completed sale, a signed lease or a registered deal.
- Prices are in SAR, and rent is always per year, even when the ad was posted monthly. The as-posted amount is kept alongside it.
- Medians and trends describe asking prices and shift when the mix of listings changes. They are not forecasts or appraisals.
- Darak has no crime, school or demographic data.
Coverage and freshness lists the cities and sources.
Disconnecting
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, open Darak and select Disconnect. In other apps, remove the MCP server. Any access token an app still holds expires within an hour. To cut access sooner, email [email protected].
Darak's privacy policy covers what the MCP server records. Calls are logged in the workspace's request log under that workspace's retention setting.
For client developers
On the first request the server answers 401 with a Bearer challenge. The protected-resource metadata names https://mcp.darak.app/mcp as the resource, darak.read as the scope and https://darak.app/api/auth as the authorization-server issuer. Clients discover the authorization, registration and token endpoints from that issuer and must use OAuth 2.1 with S256 PKCE. Access tokens last an hour and refresh tokens up to a week. The server exchanges the user's token for a short-lived API credential bound to the workspace chosen at consent; tokens issued to MCP clients are not accepted by the API directly.
Troubleshooting. A 401 with resource_metadata means the client should discover the issuer and offer sign-in. If a client keeps using the old resource or a cached token, remove and re-add the server. Do not send a DPoP token as Bearer. If a call fails on scope or plan limits, check the workspace's usage and request logs or contact [email protected].
